The Frankston-Lake Palestine area, with a population in excess of 6,000, is located in the heart of East Texas forest trails, removed from Texas’ big city metroplex system.
Residents of this area enjoy a quality of life which affords them the atmosphere of small town America with metropolitan conveniences and recreation only minutes away.
Nearest large city is Tyler, Texas, about 20 miles away. About 100 miles or two hours driving time away is the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. This area is centrally-located between Tyler and three other larger cities - Jacksonville, Palestine and Athens.
